Bird Atlas 2007-11 is a project organised by The British Trust for Ornithology. It is a four-year winter and breeding season atlas project covering the whole of the UK and Ireland. In the summer of 2007, and in parallel to the BTO project, fieldwork started for the third Bedfordshire Breeding Bird Atlas, and is due to finish in the summer of 2011.

Nigel comments –

"These are the records submitted to the atlas for the November to February periods of the last three winters. The records are for the whole of each 10km square and may include some from outside the Bedfordshire county boundary. The 4th and final winter season of fieldwork runs from 1st Nov 2010 to 28th Feb 2011. If you can fill any of the gaps, please submit as Roving Records on http://www.birdatlas.net or paper forms are available from the organiser. The chart is not suitable as a record submission form."

Please take a look at the summary, and see if you can add any data to help achieve a more complete picture of the status of our wintering birds.
